  • I've read ridiculious article about this recital, where the author compares Pletnev and Lang Lang (!!). Nowadays Pletnev is uncomparable. He is definitely the central and most important figure in modern pianism. I regret he doesn't play anymore for public.

  • I love the moment when he's playing an octave melody with his left hand and scaling the whole piano with his right hand...and his eyes are closed. And then he looks up in the general direction of the camera with this look that's just like "I know...I'm amazing..."

  • @galendewagen oh, i like horowitz's, so pletnev is comparable all right. just not to lang lang, tho ^^

  • Horowitz's, in my opinion, is more sweeping, and coherent. Love the clarity of Pletnev's playing however.

  • @Chisy1234

im studying it now, the notes are not extremely difficult, but making the right deep sound and keeping the long breath is very treacherous.

this registration is my favorite so far, mr pletnev doesnt play thenotes, he plays the music

  • И в груди - искры электричества

    Шапки в снег - и рваните звонче.

    Свистопляс! Славное язычество.

    Я люблю время колокольчиков!

  • Потрясающе! спасибо за видео!

  • Потрясающе!

  • Блестяще...

  • It's realy the best interpretation of this work...Magic and truth...

  • I have fallen for this piece as I did for Chopin's Fourth Ballade.

  • @bobinobaker So far I know, nothing proves he's guilty. But if he is, that would be a very bad thing.
