Such a great movie. Now that I'm in my late 30s I can say that when you are in your late 20s or early 30s marry the mid 20s Uma Thurman type. Fuck all that angst about could haves; should haves; could possibly haves. Get that girl who is 6-8 yrs. younger than you; who combines great looks with a great personality and you won't have any regrets.

I could not agree more and i would add that it was an ill attempt to 'recreate' the scene from The Deer Hunter in the bar. I feel sorry for the bunch.

the whole scene is so forced, you actually feel sorry for the actors as it's happening. It's just so cliched and awkward, and you just want it to end, but it keeps going, and everyone's trying to seem so damned happy ... God, I'm getting the shakes just thinking about it. -Bill Simmons

God, this movie is underrated. I watch it one time every a year. Its probably my favourite christmas movie. It makes me kind of sad, nostalgic maybe, but in a positive way, and yeah, this scene is awsome!
