@dawsonsauce its because in legacy goku 2 trunks is just a baby and the Z fighters are gonna get killed so trunks doesnt know how to go SS but later trunks will know how :D

but they changed history gohan defeated cell so trunks still met his father and goten is born too but goten can go SS because ko trunks jelousy he wanted to go SS so he trained and in DBZ Buu's fury
