This model was designed and made by one of our Japanese customers, he wanted to show you can run a railway on a hydrogen power cell so he designed the unit to power one of our standard Simplicity 2 electric locos. I now very little about power cells except it produces electricity using hydrogen with water being the only by product so this is real cutting edge technology and very god for the environment. Simplicity 2 is a narrow gauge industrial diesel locomotive based on European practice. Locomotives of this type were used widely on all manner of lines including quarries, mines, contractors lines and other industrial and public railways. 5" to 7 1/4" Gauge convertible. 0-6-0 and petrol hydraulic version available.
