@BobaFettJangoFett I have the feeling that you're a kid, so (and don't take this the wrong way) you can't fully appreciate the underlying evil and hatred that fuels this man. What makes him dangerous is that he's using the power of the church to accomplish these terrible things. His allies are the people who claim to be the most spiritual and pure.

When I was little, this was my least favorite Disney movie. Now that I can appreciate it more, it's one of my favorites. :3

@ToxicJoon Yeah. It's guys like Judge Frollo who gave the Catholic Church, and later Christianity as a whole, a bad name.

I personally never saw this movie until recently in my life (sad to say). Now of course, I see why; given my mom is very Catholic she probably thought it best in my well being not to watch. Seeing as TV defined a lot of my life and influenced it in the future, I can see the logic in such a decision.

The chant at 3:00 is very catchy even though I have no idea what it means. It's the highlight of this movie based on what I remember.

@odincadet Not to mention that if Disney added an atheist to the movie, even if they wanted to make a point, people would compare the character's personalities relative to the two religions and the movie would be made too controversial.
