Underestimated my ass. This movie is AWFUL. The character designs are terrible, the dialogue is cringe worthy, and the changes it made were worse than most of PJ's changes despite being subtler. Also, unlike PJ's version, it removed essential parts and tidbits of information, such as the explanation of why on Earth they must take the ring to Mordor. Jackson's version is so much better.

Watched nostalgia critic's old vs new review of LOTR, this verse PJ. PJ has no contest, IMO. This is rushed, overacted, and awkward at times. John Hurt's good as Aragorn though.

@JustAnotherAnimeFan Because he had become Saruman of Many Colours. If I remeber the book right, his robe appeared white at first, but when he revealed his betrayal to Gandalf, the robe shifted in many colours.
