Alan Wolfe, professor of political science at Boston College, discusses religion and its role in democracy with Michael Marsden, dean and academic vice president of St. Norbert College.

Wolfe earned his undergraduate degree at Temple University and received his doctorate in political science from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author or editor of more than a dozen books and chairs a task force of the American Political Science Association on Religion and Democracy in the United States. He is the director of the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life at Boston College and visited St. Norbert College to present the Norman and Louis Miller Lecture in public understanding.
