Silent Zone
Train #1 (Westbound)
Units: P42s #183 & #156
Consist: Unusual placement of 7 +1 (sleeper [so it appeared], baggage, 2 sleepers, diner, lounge, 2 coaches)
Time: 10:08p (On-time)
I had no idea I could pick up so much from this location - coming in the clip following, there's more to the engineer who had a unit die on him somewhere in Houston, plus some other traffic moving around.
Geographically, "Lufkin main" would mean an train is headed up the US-59 corridor. "Jensen" is a downtown Houston location. "Englewood" sounds like the main that follows Mykawa down to Alvin, TX, but I could be wrong on that. Eureka Jct. is just before or at the multitude of interchanges, of which the I-10 corridor main used to exist and run all the way to Katy. Spring, unless we're talking elsewhere, is on the I-45 corridor North of Houston, which surprises me that I'd get reception from that far.
That makes sense. For once I'm actually applauding UP because even though there was a delay, the track work is going to do wonders for on-time performance (i.e. the extension of double tracked main to and from the Bellaire Jct. branch here in Houston).

They held the train for 4 hours in San Antonio, as UP is doing major work in west Texas. So, they arrived in SAS at 0200, but didn't depart until 0940. We have been doing ok since, we will only been about 2 hours late, maybe a little more.
