The 2nd bi-annual International Piccolo Symposium (IPS) held June 11-14, 2009 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Artist-Teachers included Jean-Louis Beaumadier (France), Lois Herbine (USA), and Host-Teacher Christine Beard (USA). With special sessions and performances by Nan Raphael, Kate Prestia-Schaub and Stephanie Kocher.

"Pipeaux 1934" is a collection of 7 short pieces for pipe (recorders) by various French composers. This performance includes 3 of those pieces: "Exercise Musical" by Darius Milhaud; "Scherzo" by Georges Auric; and "Villanelle" by Francis Poulenc.
