she gave me a freebie to seee her perform this at the jermyn street theatre in the west end, we were supposed to meet up later when she returned from her tour of the East.will tak to her in the other world i guess. RIP )0(

Watching this again, York was so good that I thought I was watching Vanessa Redgrave at the same time!

How about this scenerio: You have York, Julie Christie, Vanessa Redgrave, and Maggie Smith all on the same stage-the four most accomplished British actresses of the 1960's and acting their hearts out (doing stage and film dialogue). Who'll be the one that you'll say got your money's worth?
