RAW from the camera absolutely no color correction, Shot at 1080 30p with and FD to EOS adapter. The adapter effects the lens by 1 f-stop and adds 1.6x magnification to the image. So the 50mm 1.8 lens is actually 80mm 2.8 also when compared to a full frame camera such as the 5D its 1.6x times the 80mm = 128mm, since the T2i and 7D both use the APS-C sensor. At any rate I had to bump up the shutter speed to expose correctly. Post process was ingested natively into avid exported full res and then down converted to 720 30p for youtube.

  • I bought an adaptor without the glass, will the magnification and aperture still be affected? For me, the magnification is the more serious note as I shoot movies indoors and need all the legroom I can get.

  • Is the eventual 2.56 multiplication of the lens length on a t2i going to be the case with all FD adapters with the glass or is that just specific to your adapter?
