The Pentruder CBK 22kW / 30 HP high cycle wall saw made some impressive performances at the Pentruder Inc booth at World of Concrete in Las Vegas last week, 1-5th of february 2010.
It took just under three minutes to cut the slab which was 25 cm / 10" thick and 2 m / 6.5 ft long. The 18 rebars were diametre 25 mm / 1" thick and made no problems for the Pentruder CBK with its automatic feed system and high power.

  • hate to be a kill joy but also you didn't score cut first, look how much of an angle your saw is cutting by the previous cut. I could cut butter limestone just as quick with a score and 2 passes and the cut made would be much more square using a 1600 hydraulic wall saw at 25gpm's..try scoring first for real life experience not just speed.

  • @swollz1 Thanks for your comment and input! :-) Of course you are right that there should always be a relatively shallow pre cut. In this video we just wanted to show how stiff the arm bearing is and how good the auto feed regulates.

  • @TractiveAB Fair enough I,m really interested in buying the Pentruder wall saw. Starting my own company and think I'm going 480v 3 phase electric. Easier to deal with electrical cords opposed to heavy hydraulic lines. From what I have seen the Pentruder seems to be a better choice over the Hilti or Husqvarna wall saws. Just take a little time to get used to the track and feet on this saw. Thanks for posting videos and wasn't trying be a jerk just curious. Thanks

  • @swollz1 Thanks for the interest in our machines. You won't go wrong with a Pentruder! Give Terry Martin a call (+1 5624456429) and he will be happy to give you all the information you need.
