This is crap. Simple as that. Is this the inspired material Sammy was talkin about in the interview I read? OMG, I heard these chords so many times by so many bands... You say this is current and relevant band. I say this band is like brushing your teeth with the same toothbrush for like twenty years straight. I know you guys won't like my statement but I can't help myself, sorry.

This has probably gotta be one of the few "sophomore" releases by a band that I think is actually better than their first album. Don't get me wrong, their first album was a great album but this one is one great surprise after the other! Yet then again, with the line up in this group, I really am NOT surprised that it is as good as it is. This is what happens when great musicians get together to do one thing, make great music!! Great job guys!

I loved both incarnations of VH. The Dave era was great, theres no denying that. Sammy, came in when Ed and Al wanted to do something 180 from the Dave days. They did it, and they did it quite successfully. VH now, I was rootin for them. tattoo is OK at best. Go to the VH news desk site and look up the acoustic version of You Really Got Me. Im sorry, but proves once and for all Dave cannot sing- Its actually difficult to watch. And they're about 20 yrs to late with the unplugged thing.

@ franktib, Have you seen DLR and Van Halen lately???? They are just caricatures of what the band used to be.I saw VH In 1980 and they rocked, I saw Sammy in 1983 and it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Van Halen is a band that should be left as a great memory. Chickenfoot is current and relevant!!!!

Great tune, great album.
Btw, I love Satch, Hagar, VH, DLR, Vai ... all of it. Fuck all these fools creating comparisions. Only weak-minded idiots limit themselves to a narrow music-scape. Chickenfoot isn't trying to conquer the world, just having fun expressing the creativity still coursing through their veins. Shame people feel their sense of nostalgia being threatened by new tunes.
