The Atonement plays two beautiful melodies that we have played many times as brides have walked down the aisle.

  • Well lets hear you play it without vibrato and sound better. Dave Tarras, Naftule Branwein, Andy Statman play music like this with vibrato, so I'll take that as being an important part of the genre.

  • why are you using vibrato on clarinet??

  • Why wouldn't you use vibrato? I think the music calls for it.

  • just my opinion, but I agree with tom that this is nicer with vibrato.

  • Nice! Toda raba ve kol tuv!

  • @rajidae That's the klezmer style. Very different from classical.

  • Do you sell this song as an mp3? I think it's beautiful.

  • So beautiful and soothing!

  • Richard Stoltzman and James Campbell, both classical soloists who dabble in jazz sometimes, use vibrato to a greater or lesser degree when playing classical. Campbell uses it a bit less heavily than Stoltzman. But it's incorrect to say it's only used in jazz.
