Trashy Games #64: Home Alone 2 (SNES)

This is one of the games that I owned when I had the SNES, and I last showed the NES version of this game over a year ago.

Like most games published by THQ, this one's awful. I find it funny that the game has moving suitcases, other objects that attack you and a granny jumping around with an umbrella where none of those appeared in the movie, especially when you see Kevin getting strangled and sucked inside a vacuum cleaner. Not to mention that after he gets the item seen at 4:08, he begins to do Sonic's way of jumping.

Even though this version is bad, the NES version is a lot worse, which I think I should show again but I'm not sure.

I've seen your video of the GB version actually. Although it's been a while since I last watched it, I think it's much worse than the NES version (well, by audiovisuals).

The SNES music is actually pretty good. Imagineering fixed most of the problems with the NES version. My problem is that this game's too easy. Good video though.

0:32,I didn't know Dr. Frankenfurter was the concierge at the Plaza!! At least thats what the picture looks like. I know Tim Curry played the concierge.

As a kid, I got to where I was able to beat this game pretty easily. It's not really that hard; 85% of the enemies can be taken out with that slide that Kevin does. I admit that you pretty much have to find out the hard way which enemies can be taken out and which ones can't, and also the enemies that kill you in one shot (like the clerk at the very beginning). But once you get it memorized, you've pretty much got the game licked.

Boss theme music while waiting on a elevator. 5. A boxing glove rifle/rocket launcher. 6. Pillows are fatal to your health. 7. Kevin flips. 8. 5:01 that looks like his Uncle Frank he killed. 9. And finally when Kevin gets shook it sound like a bean in a can. BOO!
