OMFG. Check put the animals abuse police up in here. These pigs are FINE, the water is shallow. I bathe my pigs every month and wash them with anti-mite shampoo. It's not abuse, it's called CARING FOR YOUR PET.

im not trying to hate but remember.. everything you do to your guinea pig is for them not for you no matter how cute they look. everything you do to them is for their well-being. guinea pigs aren't supposed to be swimming animals.i know they can still stand but the water is still to high for them.they are very small animals and they have a bigger risk of drowning.

Holy crap, you guys have got a nice TSW (tortise-shell and white). The markings are wonderful; that was cute.

uhm guys, the guinea pigs are fine. they are NOT panicking. one sign of a panicking piggie is when they start screaming. and they can scream loud. my friends guinea pig is deathly scrared of water and will start screaming when he sees it.... no baths for him. ever.
on the other hand, no guinea pig will LOVE water. but these two seem to be doing just fine ;)

Let's not spread ignorance, people! guinea pigs are actually very good swimmers (see above link). Plus, you can tell from the vid that the water is low enough on one side of the tub for them to stand up in. Also, I have 3 guinea pigs and can tell you from experience that it's very obvious when they panic, and these 2 are pretty calm. They're not dumb, they love to explore and play. No abuse going on here.

What's the big deal? Most mammals, including guinea pigs can swim just fine, plus the water isn't deep at all. I can clearly see the two animals standing on the bottom of the tub without struggling to do so. Also, they're being supervised, and appear calm and curious as to what they are standing in. Everyone needs to chill out. Yes, pets should be protected, but at the same time, they aren't porcelain dolls that break if you breathe on them too hard.
