The 2nd part in the Rigging and Fishing the Slug-go series by Steve McKenna. Look for a part about rod action at the end of the video.

  • @noserider207 This guy is landing a lot of 30 and 40lb+ bass in or near rocky structure and definitely knows what he is doing! Ever try to turn a big bass around in the surf before she gets into the structure? It can easily bend the stock hooks. Thanks for the superb rigging idea Steve, its a great alternative to eels and well worth the time and had fun doing it.

  • if you are straightening out the hook that comes with these, you are doing something wrong. Ever hear of drag?

  • Best way to hook a sluggo: Buy pre rigged

  • ha my walls look like yours but with bassbaits

  • Hi Steve,

Can you tell me if you need to slow your retrieve speed whem fishing the Slugo-go at night ?

  • Yeah thanks Steve.

SWE having difficulty stocking the pre-rigged Slug-gos in black so I guess I'll have to "tackle" this myself.

  • Nice V.S is it a 150?

  • Nice video Steve....

  • Really inforimitive vidoe. Thanks for taking the time.
