  • Just like that! Sick Cosmic Doom - AAARGHH, FUCKING AWESOME!!! Orchid & Serpent Venom are gods as well, but dunno "Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats"... Sounds interesting so I just go check 'em out right now Brothers or whaddaya think???

  • @MrHIGHlow75 I dig Uncle Acid, although their material is generally more poppy than doom metal-heavy...they've got a few tracks that are killer though \m/

  • @TheeUnidentified Uncle Acid are awesome, they are nothing like poppy, they keep blues rhythm mostly with some retro stoner sound and kick ass riffs

  • @Proof24s Well no offense intended. There are a few songs from their most recent that are catchy as hell. I can appreciate really heavy guitar music within a (song) structurally pop-ish framework...which most bands do to one extent or another anyway. Doomheads just have a penchant for traversing endless slo-mo hypnosis riff-scapes, and my impression of Uncle Acid was that they tended to avoid those 20 min opuses for more conventional structures. Either way it's all plenty good man

  • Great! But they would use a different instrument instead this distortion in the first song. Great stuff to listen together with people in a chat environment.

  • Reminds me of a more polished and focussed version of Fenriz' Red Planet. Awesome.

  • @6hate6fuck6 You lucky!!! Roadburn is one of the best festivals around, wish ya a good time... I'm looking forward seeing The Devil's Blood w/ Urfaust next week-gotta get cool too, hm?!
