Umm... I don't know if you're aware, but Jennifer Lawrence wasn't too known compared to other actresses, yeah she may have won tons of awards pre-Oscars, but if it's "all about popularity" than a more popular actress should've won. She got tons of awards, sure, but she was almost a nobody, she won because of talent.
