Cep't he tends to write the tune first and then matches the words. Sometimes it works (Band on the Run) and sometimes doesn't (She brings me everything and tenderly) and I won't spare you the Whoa Wah Whoa Whao's in "My Love"....My Love Does it Good! Deep Lyrics, Man!

Probably when he said " When I thought you was my friend"...as a guess :-).
There were lots of little "in jokes/digs" in their albums for a while.

But they made it up after this. :-)

david spinozza played lead on this one. great NY session player. also played with lennon. too many people was the song that really pissed lennon off but this one sounds like its about him too. it was definitely on pauls mind. why else would he put a picture of one beetle f6cking another on the cover.

I love the effects Paul uses on his voice in this song. Plus the tempo change towards the end, genius piece of music.. :)
