@QuietVuvuzela these things effect people emotionally. It is important to address them, rather than let people suffer. I don't know every single thing GetUp focuses on (there is a huge amount) but I know that everything it does focus on will make the world a better place.

@JuzticeStylez I see, but "marriage equality" isn't a big issue in the world, quite frankly. All GetUp focuses on is the trivial stuff that nobody cares about like gay marriage, poker machines and logging. If they focused on the economy or international relations I might have a bit more respect for them. But as for now, GetUp can go GetStuffed.

@QuietVuvuzela You are only making things worse. If you want to know why I support GetUp is because I want marriage equality. Yes, I am a homosexual. They made a radical change on peoples views with the video "It's Time"... Basically, I want to marry the love of my life, not Civil Union them.
If you lived in Australia nearing the end of 2011, you would have seen it on the news all the time. 75% of the time being thanks to GetUp.
Marriage equality also isnt the only drive, but many good causes.

I'm defending a great organisation in Australia, a country you don't even live in, and standing up for a change, which for some reason you don't see is necessary, and they have made a change, which for some reason you can't see...
