@redcurtain121297 They don't suck, they are just nowhere near as good as they used to be. The humor style has changed tremendously from a clever satirical show to more of a slapstick style. Once in a while you get a new episode with the old feel and they're usually the stand out episodes of the season.

This is one of my favorite episodes :)

If people doubt the acting required to make the characters come alive in the show, they should really see these live readings. Here the talent is so obvious. No animation, no music, nothing. Just the actors, and they still manage to make it so honest and real.

@redcurtain121297 i don't have an exact answer but they used to be clever, they used to be a parody of real life, it was an exageration of family problems you could see your family in theirs, now it's just stupid things happening to the most stupid version of Homer there is, he is just pathetic now.
A comedy has to have some way to put things back into perspective, before, Marge and Lisa were the ones that did that, now i don't think that happens at all it's all a stupid joke after another.

@NikaziO14 I understand people saying that for a show like Family Guy or Futurama but what happened to the Simpsons? I need someone to explain it to me because i just don't get why people say the new ones suck.

@redcurtain121297 no it's not

I wish the camera would have focused on the person that's doing the voice at each instant, as it's kind of the point of watching this.
