  • @zfish1995 thanks that you stated that. most folks on here tend to bash clapton, for whatever reason. but he made so much possible for the blues and remained modest and classy.

  • @paulme999 ...and you my friend need a hearing aide.

  • @halcyonsgs GOD LOVE PIG PEN, I love when he sang, and god he could play the harp.

  • 11 PEOPLE NEED HEARING AIDS

  • @Modgie100 wtf lol

  • A tour de force .. there ain't no body but the Master can do it like that!!!

  • @BIODTLOTHER1terrapin I gotta agree with you there, Pigpen wailed those vocals and you felt the blues in your toes.

  • @chalftits i think it preserves the music when people play it all the time....that's respect....ouit being a cry baby!

  • @MrDaemonB ,,, generic and mediocre...well I have heard it all..

  • @MrDaemonB check out have you ever loved a woman live from hyde park - that is not mediocre. i should add that clapton started as a blues guitarist then like most others took it into rock but has headed back. you cant be generic and mediocre if buddy guy and bb king amongst others rate you.

  • thanks... I'm breaking my hands :-)

  • The cute detail in this is the song isnt by Ellmore James. The original is from around 1940 by Tampa Red, altho the version Eric covers is done in the style of Ellmore, the lyrics themselves are Tampa's tho.
