We asked Hummer General Manager Martin Walsh that very question (and others), and he told us that his brand has a master plan to remain relevant and vibrant even if we never see $2.50/gallon gasoline again in our lifetimes. The good news is that Walsh says his brand's future product plans will address higher fuel prices while making certain not to dilute the go-anywhere, do-anything nature of Hummer vehicles, something that could be fatal to the all-important Hummer image.
