Welcome to the quick critique series. I will choose sets of 5 images from the Flickr group for comment. - I welcome any video responses.

Note there are 1000s of ways to take any photos - who am I to say it is right or wrong? These will just be my initial thoughts, some suggestions and what 'I' might have done in that situation.

Take it or leave it! :)

If you are keen to get involved, share 5 images on the Flickr group (link below) and mention it is for the quick critique. Cheers.

  • this is the first critique of yours i saw. great work! in fact, i think its a great idea to do this, it makes me more of a watcher...and i'm here in brazil using your techniques in my own work.

  • @MrJleehuddleston that is great to hear. Thanks! I Hope you will share some images soon too

  • Just want to say thanks to Matt and all the people that contribute to the channel. It has helped me to developed technique over the time since I'm just starting out. I would'nt upload because i'm too afraid to upload photos from a Sony and be that odd Sony Guy to upload :)

  • @SexyHopscotchChampi haha - come on, share some. I don't care AT ALL what you shoot on, and I'll only be constructive :)

  • Thank you matt! great critique bud!! that one of josh with the dark marks on his shoulders were shadow of his muscles..that was my first attempt at strobing. You should see the guy now hes even more cut and massive.

Great ideas and critque you are spot on with everything...those exact things went thru my head on the girl on the couch too even down the the curve and slight opening on her shorts... I appreciate I definantly learned something. Thanks again!
