According to information on some sites, apparently knees and side kicks were scored as two points each. All other techniques were considered equal.

Kurt Finlayson is a top well known Australian Muay Thai champion.

This is my second upload of this match. I deleted my first upload because for some reason there was no sound in round three. Sorry for the trouble everyone.

Sanda stand just like Karate, with side kick and that kick cause no harm or damage, because it is equals to a front leg tip out of Muay Thai. Most of Chinese applaud their fighter when he take down his opponent, but forget that before he get hold of that leg he already knee by a few knee already.

The only Sanda guy I like is Cung Lee,but Muay Thai with Full Thai Rules is much more better.

I don't know why the hell the Chinese guy won? Although it's Sanda rules, I saw Kurt went ahead , kicked and thrown his knees onto Zhao Bao Jun, and Zhao ran away from Kurt. How can the referee give the point to Zhao? and from what? I only saw Kurt kicked and punched but Zhao only ran away and tried to take down (but no succeed).This fight Kurt definitely win by every rules of the world! (but of course, except the CHEATING rules!)

@cboshi17 老實說 我真想看幾個好手到世界的舞台去比比 痛快贏他個幾場 證明給老外看看 中國武術不是花拳繡腿 是可以經得起實戰考驗的 要不然在老外前 想幫中國選手說說話 實在是沒有依據 而舉這些散打比賽為例子 就算是判中國選手贏的 拿去給老外看 人家也是噗嗤一笑 說別鬧了這不是格鬥 只能免強說是一種由中國人自己訂規則的競技 說了這麼多 其實很感概 只能說 加油 希望未來能有好選手到UFC去比賽 證明散打選手也能玩真的

坦白說! 散打比賽如果是這樣發展下去 中國想要向世界證明執武術界牛耳 結果是讓人失望的 想跟泰拳選手比高下 卻又限制肘擊及膝擊頭部 像UFC一樣允許摔技 卻又沒有後續的壓制動作 比賽中只要雙方擒抱在一起 裁判又像拳擊賽一樣可以喊停中止雙方動作 而裁判中斷比賽的時機 又老讓人覺得是為了偏袒自己人 到底這是什麼樣的規則 搞成一個這樣四不像的搏擊競賽 而且比賽進行中竟然還可以暫停 喝水擦汗 太不可思議 所謂好的格鬥競賽 無非是以最接近實戰的規則 在擂檯中設置裁判作為保護選手的最後機制 其他的就應放手讓選手去自由發揮 否則這樣的一場比賽 跟韓國人踢跆拳道有何差別 有人在實戰中會只用兩條腿在那邊踢來踢去的嗎 在實戰中會有一個裁判不停地跳進來說雙方暫停分開重新開始的嗎 在實戰中怎可能將對手摔倒在地後不繼續進行壓制卻等裁判要對方起­身 如果中國還是執意要讓散打這樣發展下去 只是會變成另外一種類似於跆拳道柔道或拳擊等的運動競技比賽 而非真實的格鬥競賽 如此想要叫老外舉起大拇指說棒 真的很難 除非散打選手到UFC 或K1等擂台上 也能獲取好的成績 否則老說我們有五千年的歷史 是有些自吹自擂了
