04 Mustang GT vs 08 Mustang GT500

GT500 - Unknown mods vs 04 GT - VT 2 cams, T56, 4.10's, ZEX 125 shot. On way home from Mustang Week last year, got into it with this GT500 from a 2nd gear roll. This is the run where i hurt the motor. You can see where all the sudden the race levels off; thats when it happened. I was at the top of 3rd gear, felt like it came out of wondow switch so i shifted to 4th and when i didnt feel the kick i let off and knew :( Nursed it home 12 hours away and got it apart. I melted the exhaust valve in cyl 5, and melted the electrodes off of 7 sparkplugs. Needless to say she got a little warm.
MHS has since fixed the heads and i have a new setup coming soon. Will be just a hair stronger this year ;)

nice run. how do you like the 125 shot with your cams? thats the route im headed right now. i just got mine back from the shop with hi tech stage 2 cams. would it be safe to assume that 125 shit is too much for stock internals?

sorry, just saw this. No the 125 is not too much for stock internals. But it is the safe limit of a wet shot through the stock intake manifold. Bad about puddling once you try to carry that much fuel.

I loved my car on the VT2 and Zex kit, very fun and it hard hard. I have since stepped my game up though.

yea... the new Coyote is sick. Evolution already has one going 11.8's @ 118 with almost nothing done. Just basically exhaust tune and tires.
