auto-tune sucks ass period. i like to hear music be real living breathing artists, not fucking robots. as Apathy, one of my favorite mc's has said "Yo you ain't a computer, you ain't from the future, and you ain't got a tumor, so why you do to your voice shit to make you sound stupider". Nuff said, the real hip hop is out there people, just not in the mainstream.

There's just one problem. Even HE is confusing a) a Vocoder (used by a lot of the electro hip hop era guys, Herbie Hancock); b) a Talk-Box (used famously by Zapp & Roger); and c) Auto-Tune - which is the flavor of today (T-Pain, Kanye, that Cher song).

this is soo true nowadays people need to REALLY find news strategies of marketing their music and NOT thinking OF A QUICK BUCK it's about the longevity people!! that fails in the modern music industry

Very true, nowadays you have to hear a few more songs before the album drops, which is what they have been doing in uk for time, you have about 3 singles then the album drops. Brandy had a good album (as usual) but i think that if they had done that she would have sold much more

youre right rodney.how in the world does epic records ask why should we push brandys album back?its a no brainer nowadays,consider me 4 instance.i will not buy anything unless i hear a good 2 or 3 songs off the album on the radio.then i'm sure i'll buy the album.if i just hear 1 song,i will dub it from the radio or something.nowadays everybody buys singles(which i dont do).i remember hearing brandys'right here(departed)'song the other week.& i heard her album just came out.i hope it does well.
