"I don't agree with formulations such as '60 Glorious Years' and '50 Glorious Years'. They are not true. The hard times of the 'Great Leap Forward' [in the late 1950s] lasted for three or four years. The chaos of the 'Cultural Revolution' [1966-1976) lasted 10 years. Those years cannot be called glorious." ~ China patriot
I used to attend that school. No one knew about that incident until the controversy of listing Song as one of the honored alumini broke out during the school's 90th anniversary. It was a tragedy, indeed. It's a sensitive domestic subject right now since 40 years of time is not enough to eliminate its past effects. Mao's positive conribution to the country cannot be denied. Yet this is like a civil war, you know what I mean?? things can only change gradually, and steady hopefully.
MAO IS jst crazy,he is afraid if he will become the next Stalin after he is dead,so he start the culture revelution to evilmate others CCP leader. It is stupid guy let china miss the golden age to catch up to the west while all the west and japan are concentrate on the economic! now we should face the ture and say sry to the ppl who dead in the crazy age.God bless china,my CCP gov keep fightin on the economic, the nect objective---over japan,be the world is second largest GDP!
Yeah right?! Through this family's carefully crafting a machine to counter communism nonsense and paving the road for economical development and political innovation, Taiwan's put PRC trailing faithfully to our models and serves as positive peer pressure to CCP's reform and growth. But, sorry, we cannot help solve CCP's predicaments of all those lies created coming back to haunt them.
How to grow good mushrooms? Keep them in the dark (CCP's still a censorship junkie) and feed them shxt (all those designed Goebbel style propaganda re Taiwan or Chiang, which you regurgitate as if you thought it out originally). BTW, Chinese Taiwan had lifted press control in 1987 when Chiang jr was still alive. It took CCP three more years after mao's death to admit capitalism was the only way out. And, political reform? Forget it.
Don't forget that this lady herself was part of the Party machine.
The CCP is a babaric organization. It is cruel not only to the Chinese people, but also brutal to its onw members.
While we value all human lives (assuming for the moment CCP members are humans; assumption may not be valid), we keep in mind that certain victims do not deserve as much sympathy as others.
