  • hey mate im looking at getting this computer but with the i5, have you had any problems or anything of the sort with it? cheers

  • @kakejelly - I also have the Vaio S with Core i5 nVidia 512mb. It is absolutely one of the best laptops I have handled. The core i5 is really powerful. But you may also want to look at the Vaio E, Core i5 with ATI Radeon 1gb GPU, and also comes in at a better price position.

  • Hey man, im James, Pinoy ako pre, ask ko lng kung anung palagay mo sa F series d2 sa ten sa pinas kasi marami akong nabasa sa mga forums, reviews and comments about the f series in the U.S. na may problems dun sa model nila sa f series.. High-pitched noise and loud fan.. d2 sa youtube may video nun.. Anu kaya sa tingin mo pre? ok kaya ang f series dito unlike sa U.S. versions na puro negative comments? thanks!

  • @jamsky18 - Oh and I wouldn't worry about the negative feedback. I haven't any probs with any Vaio so far....and I have tried a lot! Maganda quality nila so go for it. Lalo na for gaming, winner yang F series pare!

  • i really like it. im a student about to go to college level. i have a desktop at home which i will always do all my work on in terms of music processing and office files but i realy need a reliable laptop with a some nice power to be able to take my work to college. pretty much any computer can run my programs but im wondering do you recommen this. it seems like a much more affordable option than the z series. both look beautiful

  • @kahuna3901 - Yes, I'd rather go for the S than the Z. So much cheaper. And if you want an ssd, just get an aftermarket one, and you'll end up saving more.

  • well, I got a dell inspiron 1564 and till now i´m pretty satisfied . I know this is about sonny , but if you you want a pretty good machine with a good cost , it would be Dell.

I don´t know in all countries but I think sonny is pretty arrogant about their products , so the dell technical assistance, uses to be better. Sonny has that kind of thought " Our products are good enough to have defects . So , I´ve prefered a Dell core i3.
