Why was Kiev not in the final game?

The enemies look cooler than any other of the enemies.

It's glitchy as hell and there's a lot of sloppiness in the menus and achievement text, which makes me think they got like the B team of programmers to slap this on long after the game was actually finished.

If you're playing through the campaign, yes. But if you want to you can just play any of the missions individually, where you select the mission at the start and it takes you back out to the menu at the end...

ok, and also, as you play through the campaign, do the missions start as a normal mission would? (after you finish the one before)
