Outlaw Radio has a large collection of hard to find, out of print songs in its library. All songs are original recordings. And this is just one of them. If there is a song that you have been looking for and have yet to find, send me a request cause there is a chance that I have it. Thanks, Snoop Diddy Program Director at Outlaw Radio

  • I saw Tracy Nelson for the first time last nite on Pop Goes the Country. I was blown away by her singing. Man how did I ever miss hearing her? I am definately going to find her albums. Beyond belief.

  • I watched it too, and that was the first time I actually seenn her sing.

  • Actually, I'm not saying that YOU were claiming it was OP, but rather clarifying the status of the Tracy Nelson record on which the song first appeared. And, yes, it is also available on the Willie CD as well. As far as your service goes, I'm sure it's a welcome for those trying to find OP materials--as well as for the artists and songwriters who must be glad that their OP stuff is still bringing in royalties and gaining them recognition.

  • I totally agree. But I didn't know about Ronstadt.

  • The CD on which this tune originally appeared, the 1974 self-titled TRACY NELSON is NOT out of print. It can be readily found online at all the usual venues, and it's moderately priced.

  • Get your facts straight. I didnt say all songs were out of print. Just said we have some. This song can als on be located on Willie Nelson's CD

  • Tracy Nelson is a hugely underrated GODDESS.

  • As long as Tracy Nelson can sing, nobody needs to worry about the fire going anywhere.

  • You're right about that, as long as she can sing, the fire's going no where. Willy and Tracy aren't related, just singing friends.

  • We're all related..

  • Talk about bringing back some VERY fond memories...my daddy had this classic rendition on his juke box at his old tavern "The Chuck Hole." God love you and miss you dad. May Uncle Willie's music live FOREVER! Good times, and God bless.

  • I am a fan of both Conway and Loretta, and liked the version of this song they did. However, this one has a drive about, and passionate sound that I like better. And I absolutley love Willie. His voice.... well, it just gets to me. He and Tracy blend so well together. She has a strong voice and can belt out a song better than anyone.

  • I dunno...I just can't like a version of this any better than Conway and Loretta's.

  • @tamspeci They're not related.

  • They also sang it in Honeysuckle Rose.

  • This was the first Willie Nelson song I remember hearing on radio, back in '74, but one thing I don't know, are Willie & Tracy related? I tried Wikipedia but they didn't say.
