Advent Clincher [Action Finalist] Anime USA 2008

Full title: "Advent Clincher :: A Kadaj Tribute" (Yes, I am aware that is cheesy to the max. XD)

EDIT 1/12/09: This video won second place in Tennings' Final Fantasy VII AMV Contest 2008! XD I just got the news a couple of days ago, and I'm still simply amazed by such an honor!

...There is so friggin' much to say about this video... First off... I WAS A FRIGGIN' FINALIST! D: Yep, I was a finalist in the action category of Anime USA's AMV contest! I was so blown away when I first got the news, I didn't even care if it would get a 1st or 2nd place award.

And it's true, it didn't. The ones who did deserved their award fair and square, no competition, and I'm just so honored my video was considered among them! My only gripe was that the 1st place winner, as good as it was, should've been in the Comedy category, where it would've probably won anyways. :)

Anyways, the construction of this video: since I had deleted the original project file, I had to remake it from scratch... something I would've done anyway. ;D There were several things I wanted to fix, including fitting scenes to lyrics better, synching, etc.... Not a whole lot I can add, except I'm satisfied with this final result. :)

It still makes me so happy that I was a finalist... I've been facing many disappointments lately in terms of things I want to achieve, and this victory has become a ray of hope for me.

That timing, it was PERFECT. Your amv's are way too good!! You know what?? I plead that when "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete" you have to make another one!!! Wow! I hadn't seen your videos before either but I'm also impressed. You make really great use of the natural timing in the video itself, which can be really hard to do consistently. And I'm super impressed that you won second in a contest! You keep up the awesomeness too!

I've been a little confused as well but I googled it yesterday and I'm pretty sure SHM stands for Silver Haired Men... But I'm a new fan, so only a true hard core final fantasy fan can confirm my statement....

Well I really do like 'em all though unfortunately the AC characters/FFVII characters in AC don't shout out to me as much because the movie doesn't really seem to me to focus on them... still yes I like Kadaj (and his pool party [youtube it!]) I've been getting confused... what does SHM stand for?
