"Like black holes in the sky" is emblematic of what the album is all about-- emotionless, loneliness, loss of one's self, etc. To me it epitomizes the feeling of being lost and empty. The "10,000 mile stare" as I have heard it called. RW / PF use economy of words and abundance of musical genius and escapism to create artistic works that will survive the test of time..

@LevizGaming they're talking abuot when syd was crazy and he showed up when they were making dark side of the moon. David Gilmore took his spot in case you didn't know. But when he showed up, he had a weird look in his eyes that looked "Like black holes in the sky"
