What you need to realise about her early glamour modelling, is that she was trying to earn enough money to make demo tapes. It's not as if she's a Katie Price, or Jodie Marsh. Geri is very intelligent. I admire her for that. I don't think she could do much else to earn that kind of money in them days.

She may be trying to draw attention to herself but I can tell you from experience that British women are really straight forward. They are not shy and have no problems telling you about anything, sometimes to the point of making you cringe. My ex was from England

i don't think Geri is so self absorbed that she does not see any other people.

I think she is just very aware of things and she overshares a bit. But she is so not like Lady Gaga bec she knows she is not the best

i know geri can talk shit, but shes entertaining me here, altho the whole sex talk and talk about her breasts...its like shes purposely trying to draw attention.. its a bit sad.

@rafflesia At the same time, even in this, she's someone I would love to know. Most of the documentary still seemed to have a certain rawness to it that I could appreciate...

@Benfzworld She's certainly far from at her best in this; I just wasn't especially offended by her. Can't say I'm exactly shocked that it was poorly received; she surely could have, and has typically, been much better--more like the Geri we know & love. :[ That's sad. It is good that it's over, particularly for her.
