Extreme Loading is proving to be a versatile and robust tool:
· The software can be used to design a destructible set
· Engineered simulations can be run long before the set is built
· Safe zones for cameras can be identified
· Alternative scenarios can be considered
· And in the end, the resulting 3D files can be brought into Maya or comparable package for dressing and compositing.

  • Interesting. Does this software simulate friction and/or air-resistance also?

  • It can indeed.

  • Great video! btw who is the music by?

  • Music Created in Acid Loops Software.

  • Judging by the non-retardedness of your post, I'd guess you got here from Digg.

  • This is really great. This team should collaborate with materials scientists and geologists and such to better simulate material-specific fracturing. This would help both with everyday materials (eg. the porcelain vase) and in characterizing environments subject both to impact disaggregation and erosive/abrasive processes for characterizing environments such as cliffs and folded tectonic settings for sedimentary and volcanic lithologies.

Analytical descriptions are also possible here.

  • hmm, so this or DMM

  • what 3d apps is this for?

  • when are u going to make a game with this destruction?

  • This is in real time?(some the physics)

  • Is there a way to download this? And is this all a simulation?

  • The only thing that annoys me is the fact i can see the times that cubes and rectangles are used instead of dynamic shapes. It looks amazing but you can see it is build up of cubes mostly. Cool though

  • i f you dont think thats a good idea than think about how many deals you'll get with that

  • you guy should make a deal with sony playstation

  • Not available for free....
