Here are some Tem musicians from Togo, playing a newly-composed song to help literacy. The square drums are unusual and I've never seen them anywhere else.

  • In Portugal, the name of the square drum is adufe. There are varieties of square drums in Spain, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
