This is one of the very great Christian songs of our time. If the Lord does not come back for a thousand years this song will still be sung amoung the faithful! I believe it will be soon that the Lamb of God will return and claim His own, and the reality that is sung about in this song will be fulfilled to the glory and holiness of our God, Jesus!

@Babaaklloyd Had the same experience after seeing the Brooklyn Tab. What a joyful a reminder of what awaits us beyond earthly life. My daughter Mischca is there & so other loved ones. Watched several versions m/l all day long & e-mailed them to my loved ones. My heart aches for those unaware or unwilling to believe and REST in the magnificance of the TRUTHS implicant in this wonderful 'anthem of the faith' Maybe you & I will meet above & remember this silly e-mail. Can someone tell me who this is singing. I love this song and saw a clip of it in the special features on my "I Do Believe" DVD of the Gaithers. He is very gifted and I'd like to see more of his work.

Spazzlet - I'm with you! We listened to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir version in church last night and I was unbelievably moved. Have not been able to stop listening in my home today and just stopping everything and lifting my hands in worship and tears. This is an unbelievable song and yes, we will all bow before the light on that day!!! Praise God you will be there too. What a glorious day that will be.

This songs sends chills up and down my spine. Before I was saved, I used to think of songs like this as metaphorical--I didn't know that Jesus will literally be the light of that city.
