Cane Hill

Cane Hill was a psychiatric hospital (Nut house) in Coulsdon, the site covers 83 hectares , Im sad to say a demo team have now moved in, so I went back with two friends to get a bit of video before this place is lost for ever.a lot of the footage was shot in very low light so the exposure on my video camera had to be set longer than the normal, as a result some shots will look blurred ,but in some ways this is a nice fx. :). filmed by me,edited by me, music by dead can dance. What software do you use to edit it?

Adobe pem CS4 for editing , 3D max for the 3d bits and combustion for all the comp work :)

No smashing up abandoned buildings is fun shit, i live in a crap piss poor town and theres a lot of them. But something with as much history as a asylum should be left alone. Its more interesting to explore when you havnt kicked a hole thru every door in the building.....plus its scary. Cant help but think i would like to steal stuff from there tho. Just to keep. Equipment, historic objects or personal items of patients.

no. smashing a place up like this ruins it. the fact that it has decayed its self is what gives it its charm an appretiation. iv done urbixing once myself. not anywere as grand as cane hill but i still know what true urbixr's do what they do for
