  • Do you think the serpintine stator will outperform a regular multi coil round type stator

    ?

  • @Aceman307 There are two things I like about it: you just have to wind three coils and you don't have to solder a bunch of coils together. You can also bring the magnets closer together which could raise performance; but you might be able to do the same if you made individual coils and overlapped them.

  • What happened between 0:48 and 0:50? All of a sudden there is copper coils there!

  • @paack3 I just said, "Abracadabra," and there they were! :-) Part 1 (or A) shows how I put the coils together. Then I just laid them on the form.
