Gay Suicide: Kenneth James Weishuhn

14-year-old Kenneth James Weishuhn of Primghar, Iowa took his life on Saturday, April 14th 2012, after being bullied for recently coming out as a GLBT teen a few months ago.

I wanted to let people know i live in primghar, its not a bad town. i go to south o brien, its not a bad school. its these parents who are not raising their kids right, and dont do a thing when their child is in the wrong. hopefully these guys learned their lesson. its sad that kenneth had to go before he could see how much we all care for, love, and support him.

He didnt deserve that ! Im glad some others care abput him too. He was close to many of my friends. I too, get bullied. I will keep my head high for Kenneth. -Sky-

I shouldn't have used generalized terms. I don't feel that it's the whole school's fault... but we do have to work together - because if we don't, it leaves room for these things to happen more often. Sorry if it sounded any other way... I'm certainly referring to the people who just watch this stuff happen - and don't say or do anything.

We're desensitized to everything because of the media (movies, music, games, news) we expose ourselves to. Only sound biblical doctrine can renew a right spirit within us and re-sensitize ourselves to the things of God. With that, bullying is wrong and wicked, but so is homosexuality, and so is any number of sins that the world dismisses as "normal" and acceptable. Sin is sin!!

I dont like that people only start to do stuff after they hear something bad or hurtful . Like Bullying ? Nobody would do anything until they find out all the kids who kill themselves over all the people who make fun of them . I have many gay friends , And I love them all <3
