Went to help out with "Helmets Off for Heroes". This is a program offered to military personnel to allow them to have free driving out on the track and learn about car control as a token of our appreciation for their services to our country. Instructors were allowed "fun time" out on the track when the students were in classroom. Haven't been on Jefferson in over 3 years and this was on a different suspension/tire/brake setup than when I was last there. The car was very twitchy, a little bit too much. You can see just at the beginning in turn 1 the back end got loose on me. Couldn't really drive the car to it's fullest potential, just danced around a little too much for me. If I did it again I'd definitely unhook the rear swaybar. It was fun. Getting passed by the Corvette and Ferrari was quite amazing, those things were damn fast and sounded awesome.
