Chelsea Esmeier - National Anthem for USA TODAY "Oh Say Can You Sing" Contest

Vote for Chelsea Esmeier in the "O Say Can You Sing" contest! In this video submission, she sings the National Anthem before one of her school's basketball games.

Chelsea Esmeier is an accomplished singer and musician. She is a junior in high school, where she is very active in the fine arts program. Chelsea is a member of the drama and choral departments, as well as the school band. She is the lead vocalist for the her school's music ministry and part of an elite singing ensemble. She has cantored in church since 1999. Chelsea was a member of the select choral ensemble Voiceworks in 2008, a 12-member chorus in cooperation with the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, which performed at various venues in Cincinnati and sang the National Anthem for the Cincinnati Reds this past summer. She is a 2008 Northern Kentucky Idol winner.
