Stationed here from '83 - '85 with A Co/ 108 MI BN. When I arrived they told me that Wildflecken had two seasons: July & Winter. They were not far wrong.
Thanks for the clip. I was stationed there in A co 1/68 armor. 83-85 It was a heck of a change for someone who had never been in the snow before!

I spent 6 years in SPEARHEAD, 3rd ArmoredDivision (Germany). We STAYED here in "WildCHICKEN"....Hoenfels ..or at GRAF all the time! 1970s & 1980s,
The Cold War Years were .................FRICKIN' C O L D !!! Scouts OUT!
