Spatial Sounds is created by Marnix de Nijs and Edwin van der Heijde.
This artwork is part of the exposition "Deep Screen - Art in Digital Culture" at the Stedelijk Museum CS in Amsterdam.
Spatial Sounds was to me a very interesting and very funny piece of art that interacts great with the people via a scanner and a speaker. It learns about the room and the people inside it.
As you can see it sort of follows me because that is what it is supposed to do. It sees me through th scanner inside to track me down. Like an agressive animal it sort of attacks you and tries to stay closest to you as it can.
I did this vid for fun but i was at the museu for an investigation about the exposition and the musuem itself.
Im a student at MediaCollege Amsterdam where im studying as a graphic designer.
