@lhommeenbleu Perhaps in 10 years or so, if that, considering one frame takes about 1 hour or so to render :))
-
nice ! how long did it take to render this ?? i have Vue 10 and i'm rendering a simple scene clip, and it takes ages :(
-
@dandarya check out the frost bite 2 engine in Battlefield 3 and how they handle terrain... impressive real time experience.
-
@dandarya Because the game would be so huge you'd need a super computer to play it. But don't worry, maybe some day... lol
-
Love it!
-
@lhommeenbleu well look now on crysis 2 .. ts pritty close ;D
-
did u render it on vue??
-
@lhommeenbleu It depends on what you are using it for aswell, you "can" get around for personal use, but don't go around selling your products when your original software is illegal.
-
The models are okay but there's too much aliasing.
-
@lhommeenbleu ever heard of free? :)
whhy cant they make video games using this stuff.

Because with the rendered time of these scene, the techonoly is not enough advance to apply for games.
Perhaps in a couple of years ;)

how did you get rid of the logo that is displayed over the picture?

Yes, Pionner is very limited.
But unlike shadowmansas,
i prefer to buy my software. I try to save my money and i can buy hardware and software.
Vue is relatively expensive. But if you want to be honest and for the development of the software, please pay!

So which version would you recommend.

Difficult to respond.
Depending of budget and what do you want do to.
My suggestion for beginner:
Vue 8 Esprit (199$)
or Vue 8 Studio (399$)
on the site of Eon Software you have the comparaison of their differents softwares.
