#9 Dream - John Lennon (70th Birthday Tribute) (2010 Remaster)

I don't know if there should be a title for this, but... What can I say?... "The Man", "The Genius", "How you've changed my life",...
Whatever... They're all titles in the end :) and they all still, can't give him even half the credit he deserves...
Now, what could be said about that almost perfect man?... I'll probably leave that to the end... What's the importance of titles, anyway?! :)

In no time, I got touched by him in so many ways; incredibly... Well, The Beatles in general of course. But it still is John Lennon! one of the most unique men in history... Even though, I love Paul a lot more, and he has been an influence on my life to a broader aspect; John had, and STILL has a tremendous effect on me... His voice alone, is miraculous... His randomness, his exceptional charisma, his talent, his beautiful mind... Everything...

Sometimes I wonder, how come there are people out there in this world who aren't fans of John Lennon?... Are we just crazy, or what? :)
I swear, certain words that he says through his songs gets me almost drooling sometimes!... I feel stunned, at times... And in the middle of a laugh, or smile when watching or listening to him, comes out a tear from my eyes remembering that he had passed... That he's gone, and will never come back (physically of course) which leaves me angry. But at the same time, looking at him or hearing his voice again, heals the pain...

Part of his charm and magic, is that he entirely speaks our hearts, souls, and minds out; without having the intention for that at all... He just, so effortlessly, unintentionally does...

I remember the first time, I watched The Beatles Anthology, and hearing George Martin say: "Even in his early take, he has a voice which sends shivers down the spine.", I was thinking in the very instant of how his voice does exactly that to me!

Throughout my life, no one has ever affected me like The Beatles did. They turned my world around, entirely... In a good way... In a great way... And John, was a major factor there. Not only has he been an inspiration, or a musical idol... He has been a mentor... A teacher whom I learnt from (and still do, everyday) A LOT, about life in general... Not a sentence that he says, even as a joke, could pass by without having me thinking about it, or learning something from it...
Well, I could keep talking about him, forever... Still, no words could describe, or be enough said...
He's so much...

It's the end of that note... But, sorry, I will not write a title for that...

I love, and miss you John....

I know, right? How could somebody hate him..?

Well, this guy in my class hates John Lennon because according to him, John was the "downfall of the Beatles". My other friends thinks that it was Paul McCartney who broke them up, but whatever... we're getting off-topic here.

But, yeah. He truly was amazing. No wait, that's an understatement. He was an egotistical asshole, but also one of the kindest people to ever live. How could one man be so many things at the same time..?

Beautiful video... and I agree with the beautiful words you wrote about Lennon in your video description... he has influenced the world and my life in too many ways to write about... he is incredible and his legacy is awesome... he is my hero and a true musical prophet....  peace and love to you...
