Artful Dodger performing the second hit from their 1975 self-titled debut album. This performance was taped during an April 1st 2006 reunion show at the Cleveland Agora. Sorry about the so-so audio, this was a monorail camcorder set up by the soundboard. You might want to fiddle with the graphic EQ settings on your computer. Enjoy!

BTW - You'll notice that this version got "derailed" slightly by the soundboard operator. First off, he missed the guitar lead by Gary Cox (who bought a brand new Dr.Z Amp just for the show). Secondly, Bill's vocal levels pop in and out a couple of times towards the end of the song. Oh well, what do you want from LIVE!

The song is from Artful Dodger's self-titled debut. SONY music reissued it on CD in 1998, and American Beat Records is reissuing it shortly, as well as "Babes On Broadway". There are no (and should be no)download locations since it is copyright material. Occasionally the album appears on online auctions, but I'd wait for the reissue. ABR did a fantastic job on the "Honor Among Thieves" reissue (1/2008). Listen here all you like, and visit the band's site!

WOW! What a pleasant flashback to a great night in Cleveland! Hearing the audience join in on the opening verse and just watching their inter-action throughout,only proves what a great song "It's Over" is and what Artful Dodger means to it's loyal fans.

I saw these guys at Painesville Agora.I was 15 snuck in with an older friend.I played in cover band in early 90s and we covered Scream.Hard to believe they didn't go national.Dam good band from back in the day.You know,back when you actually needed to know more than 2 cordes and have a voice to play "MUSIC".
