@theLTspock There are still underground music that is similar to this though. Unfortunately, we tend to complain about how bad "new school" music is. The best thing to do is to search for some underground artist and support them. Right now, the radio stations and labels won't play/sign artist who are "good" in our eyes because there doesn't seem to be interest. So go out and buy albums!

You have to love the Internet. My lady is here watching 127 Hours and Bill Withers' Lovely Day was playing in the film which led me to this. Hip hop is just not the same anymore. It's way too commercial. What a shame.
