This was made because of the controversy on Rob Bell and was made using real quotes and paraphases of quotes from Rob Bell as well as a bit of logical conclusion. Quotes were mainly from His nooma dvd's and His book 'Velvet Elvis'
@BalancedAbner Do you know any church history? Many heretics through the ages have claimed the Bible as their source of truth. The problem is that the doctrines they construct are false.
@BalancedAbner P.S. I'll help you out here with a clue... the examples from Scripture that we are supposed to follow and imitate are the ones we are told in Scripture to follow and imitate, which includes refuting heresies and rebuking those who spread them
@BalancedAbner If you had a sound underestanding of hermeneutics and exegesis you would know the answer to that already. Your question reveals you are nowhere near as balanced as your username claims.
@john17v17 So you are justifying bashing on others with giving an example of what someone in the Bible did. Elijah also asked God to kill him because of his fear of Jezebel. Should we do that, too?
@john17v17 Haha. Yeah, man. I do.
GB brother.

@john17v17 But Rob Bell also claims the Bible as his source of Truth...

@BalancedAbner No, I am saying that the Bible is right, and Rob Bell is wrong.
Apology accepted.

@john17v17 So what you are saying is that you are right, Rob Bell is wrong, and that justifies your reason to criticize?
I'm sorry man.

Rob Bell is an enemy of the Cross of Christ! He is what the apostles (i.e. Peter, James (Jesus' brother), John, Paul) warned us about.
